Before I received a copy of the Twelve Visions, I was mindlessly wandering and expecting my then 4 year old daughter to act as a miniature adult! As i read the material I realized that the way I truly think was never wrong, I was just born into the “wrong” social class. I than gave my children, then 4 and 18 months, a wonderful piece of advice: everything is a puzzle, find your pieces and put it together. When my third child was able to understand, I told him the same thing.
I now have a 7 rear old second grader who is bored with the school’s curriculum, a 4 year old kindergartner who surprised his teacher (he’s the best hand washer, is the first to try to solve problems on his own BEFORE getting and adult’s help, and has AMAZING ideas on the train set.), and a 20 month old who can already walk forward down the stairs, can open bedroom doors (round knobs!), rearranges my refrigerator without breaking any containers, and defeated his baby-gate five months ago.
I, personally, have realized that I am a much stronger person than I was 2 1/2 years ago. I speak up for myself more, grasp the meanings of phrases quicker, and that everything really is possible no matter what class you were born into! I have recognized the politicians on sight who are out for themselves and the politicians who are truly to help the people (locally AND federally).
I no longer just believe what people tell me about any given situation, I question every possible angle of the question or situation. I have lost “friends” along the way, men who look over at the blond behind me because they feel threatened by my intelligence, and even the alienation of family members who say I’m “crazy”.
I no longer tolerate WILLFULLY IGNORANT people, who recognize the wrongs and REFUSE to change them.
My long term goal in my life is to become a third grade teacher. I would never have gotten into college if I would not have woken up to reality from reading the Twelve Steps. I start my third college term in the beginning of October.

Thank you for your statement:
“I no longer tolerate WILLFULLY IGNORANT people, who recognize the wrongs and REFUSE to change them.”
This is now a maxim for me as well, thanks to U.
After many years as a Neothinker, I still find it jaw-dropping incredible when I see or hear that my greatest love for others must still suffer the witness of these self-deprecating attitudes from others.
In my relationships, I am nowadays including my ‘tough-love’ expectation for them to see that accepting even the smallest degree of destruction to the one-&-only-life-they-will-ever-have (or anyone else’s they suffer to witness) on our our Grand Earth is the reason humanity is historically such a cosmic tragedy to date. Surely our toleration without opposition to “willful ignorance” is the cause of the worst evil unfolding in the Universe, which is found right here on our beloved planet. I will be fighting for peeps to fully respect the cosmic nature of their higher conscious human selves in my own way as long as I have even a single breath remaining.
Just yesterday, I flatly stated the following to one of my most beloved relatives ~ who has of late been acting out in altruistic patterns that I clearly see will ultimately end her experience as a healthy, happy person, (she is a tender-hearted people-pleaser, under the influence of extreme manipulations against her own interest, from other family members whom claim to “desperately love her”):
“Wanna’ be a loser? … Stay right there where you are now, doing what you have started to do. You are doing a simply amazing job!”
Today, I heard from another relative that they are very mad at me, however, I will be acting to see their stance take on some winner qualities nonetheless, all the while showing how much I love them ~ even if they don’t. Reading your statement is a great encouragement that I am on the right track, though it is difficult beyond description to risk their relationship by being ‘intolerant & judgmental,’ as they have today resorted to calling me.
Thank you for the light your words have bolstered my resolve with.
Love you for sharing your absolute, ‘take-no-prisoners’ love-of-life attitude.
